Memory Card are sometimes referred to as Multi Media Card or abbreviated as MMC. It is generally a flash memory storage device which is capable of storing digital data. There are different types of memory card available in the market and can be used with various mobile phones. These data storage devices are not only used for mobile phones but also for other gadgets like camera, handheld computers, gaming devices, music players and other such devices. These memory cards acts as a perfect aid when you run out of phone memory and you have got to store some really crucial data.

Types of file:
Memory Card is a device used for storing multimedia information. That means it can store digital data in form of video, images and audio files. It store data upto its memory capacity. It may also store games, setup files and other .exe files. You may also store Word files if any. In short, a MMC or memory card can help you store almost any type of data.

Transferring data:
Transferring data from a memory card to computer is not a complicated task. While purchasing your mobile phone you may have received USB cable with the package. This USB cord helps you to connect your mobile to you computer system. When you connect your mobile phone to your system, you will be able to locate your memory device on the computer; this will help you to transfer data from your memory, while the card is in your phone. You can also adopt a memory card reading device. This device is generally referred to as Memory Card Reader. All you need to do is insert you MMC in the device appropriately and connect the card reading device to your computer through the USB port on your CPU. You do not need to install this device as it is easy plug and play device that helps you to locate your memory card on your computer system. If you wish to transfer any data from your mobile phone to other phone, you can use Bluetooth technology if supported. This will help you transfer of data form one device to another.
