SMS Feature in Google Voice

Now you can send SMS using Google Voice to one or multiple recipients, yes Google add this new feature for Google Voice which enables the users to send SMS text messages.

Check the image for reference, once you login to your Google Voice account, you can choose option and enter multiple numbers of contact numbers to send SMS, It would have been very good if they have provided the option to send SMS to a group.

One disadvantage is that when I checked in my iPhone and then new Google Voice web application does not appear to support this feature at least for now. I had a chance to check the GV Mobile + application for jailbroken devices too, that also seems to be not supported, may be it will require a new release.

For those who are wondering what is Google Voice, Google Voice is a service that will allow you to call and SMS using a different number than your actual mobile phone number, Call to that number will be routed to multiple phones depending on your settings, and text messages are free. This has also got international calling service tied to Google Voice.

Check in your iPhones to test this, hope you will enjoy it.
